I transferred to Wayne State in January of
2001 from Macomb Community College. At MCC I received an Associates of
Art’s degree. I choose Wayne State because not only did it have the
programs I was looking for but was an easy commute from home. Wayne also provided me with the
opportunity for work. Being able to Work and go to
school at Wayne is convenient; it saves me time by not having to drive as
much. When I first attended Wayne I was overwhelmed by the size, but
it did not take me long to learn to navigate my way around. I am glad I choose to attend WSU because
everyone there is friendly and helpful, and there is almost always something
exciting happening around campus.
My dream since I was a young girl was to become a teacher. I
love children. In teaching them I want
to be able to make whatever difference in their life that I can, big or
small. Right now I am taking classes in
the College of Education towards a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Elementary Education with a ZA endorsement.
Upon graduation I am hoping to be able to teach Preschool or
Kindergarten. I am having so much fun and learning lots of great knowledge in
my classes. I can’t wait to apply my
knowledge to my own classroom.
